Hot Yoga & Pilates

Hot Power Hour - Saturdays 9:00-10:00am (with Katie) starts 7th October

 

Open to all levels, this fun and flowing vinyasa class is taught in a heated room (31-35 degrees) with great tunes! Our Hot Studio provides a chance to burn some serious calories, detox and enables your muscles to lengthen while you flow with the music through an ever changing sequence of postures. Practice first thing in the morning and start your weekend with a blast of energy!

 

Hot Restorative Yoga - Sundays 9:30-10:45am (with Barbara)

 

In a studio heated to 35 degrees. An inspiring yoga workout which builds and improves your flexibility and strength. Embrace the heat, flush out (eliminate) toxins. Hot yoga allows you to go more deeply and safely into postures, it elevates your heart rate making your body work harder. The body relaxes and breathing is improved. It will help focus your mind and develop better concentration. Suitable for all levels of fitness. Please bring your own mat or a non slip yoga mat towel and plenty of water!

 

Warm Vinyasa Flow - Tuesdays 8:00-9:00pm (with Katie) coming soon

 

Vinyasa is the practice of attaching breath to movement and postures in a flowing, dynamic rhythm. This class will work on bringing focus to your breath, before transitioning into a flowing sequence that is intelligently put together to lead you into arm balances and inversions before bringing you back down for a nice juicy savasana. Taught in a warm room which challenges your body that little bit more, it aims to build strength, flexibility and balance. This class will work you hard to get you into poses you never thought possible, but it's also suitable for any level as variations will always be given.

 

Hot Pilates - Thursdays 10:00-11:00am (with Clare) starts 21st September

 

In a studio heated to 35 degrees. Pilates goes to the next level and not only will you enjoy the traditional benefits of Pilates but also heat helps the muscles to get into postures more deeply and effectively. The heat allows for great range of movement in joints, muscles, and ligaments. When exercising in heat it’s obvious you will sweat more, sweating has proven its effectiveness in flushing out toxins and maintaining optimal physical as well as mental health, it also helps the body cleanse itself and clears bacteria out of the skin. The process of sweating also helps improve circulation and gives the skin a fresh look and feel. Like thousands before you, you will find that practicing Hot Pilates creates a satisfying and almost addictive feeling of achievement.

 

Heated Hatha Yoga - Thursdays 7:15-8:15pm (with Barbara)

 

In a studio heated to 30 degrees. Heated Hatha Yoga - a deeply relaxing yoga experience. It will help improve your strength and flexibility whilst helping you unwind, reduce stress and improve your quality of sleep. Includes a combination of gentle yet powerful postures, breathing techniques and meditative relaxation. Please bring a mat and/or yoga towel and plenty of water to drink.
